City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installations

This comprehensive electrical course is considered the standard qualification for becoming an electrician. If you are employed or not the level 2 - 2365 Electrical installation diploma will give you the practical and theoretical competenece to gain employment in the electro-technical industry.
The Diploma in Electrical Installation course is the most comrehensive and efficient route to becoming an electrician. Many students will gain employment either during or after they complete their training. An Electrician's Mate or Improver role is well within the grasp of most students and some will become self employed whilst they progress through of the next step of their electrical training which will usually be to complete NVQ and AM2 qualifications.
The City & Guilds 2365 is for anyone aged 16 and above regardless of previous experience or knowledge who would like to become an electrician.

Why take the 2365 Electrical Diploma?
To get a job with a contractor as an Electricians Mate or Electrical Improver you will need a good practical and theoretical grounding and as you know competition for apprenticeships is tough. The Diploma in Electrical Installation is different from an apprenticeship qualification in that to be an apprentice you need a job first. Employers won't usually take on people without relevant skills, experience or qualifications.
