The 18th Edition Wiring Regulations course is run over 3 days. This essential electrical training course will enable you to gain familiarity with the layout and content of BS 7671: 2018 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations. This Certificate ensures you are up-to-date with the latest industry regulations on wiring and the safe use and operation of electrical equipment and systems. This course is entirely theory based and is completed by way of an online multiple choice open book exam.

Course Details

This course is aimed at practicing electricians, electrical contractors and those in related industries who require a thorough working knowledge of

BS 7671. The aim of this 3 day electrical training course is to gain familiarity with the layout, content and detail of the BS 7671: 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations. A basic understanding of electrical principles is recommended in order to be successful on this course which is the industry standard to gaining employment in the electro-technical industry.

MCB use a unique and wide variety of resourses to introduce The Wiring Regulations. All of out tuition material is fully up to date with the current amendment and we ensure that you will be fully prepared for the online 

test which is a 2-hour multiple-choice, on-line examination. The exam is 'open book', meaning that you will be able to actually use the Wiring Regulations book as a reference during the exam process.

From this course you can move on to Inspection and Testing qualifications: . If you do not hold any electrical qualifications and would like to work towards becoming a fully qualified Electrician to work in Commercial/Industrial premises, the C&G 2365 at level 2 would be a very good starting point for you.

You will need a copy of the current IET Wiring Regulations BS7671: 2018 (Blue book) because as mentioned above this course has an open-book exam.

There are two options, a 1 day update and 2 day course. The cost is £195 for the 1 day and £295 for the 2 day. A deposit will secure a booking and the balance can be paid before the course start date.
